What I like about this place is. The staff is very friendly. Enjoyed the experience of dining from the start to finish. Yes the price is high. But I was able to take food home.That’s usually rare. Overall check it out worth going for the experience. I think im gonna have to try the pig knuckles. They looked delicious.
Gerst Haus has amazing authentic German food. The Reuben, turkey Reuben, and fried bologna sandwiches are great choices for lunch. If you’re going for dinner and willing to pay a little more the wiener schnitzel is one of the best items on the menu. If you’re looking for more American fare the burgers and fried catfish are also very good. Gerst also has an impressive list of rotating beers on tap. The gerst Amber ale is one of the smoothest beers I’ve ever had. Definitely worth trying for anyone who enjoys beer.
A very quaint German restaurant that serves absolutely delicious authentic German food! They also have regular American menu for those who prefer to experience the ambience. We ordered the beef stroganoff with noodles and bratwurst with sides. Omg! Service was impeccable too! Love the ambience as it reminds me of German restaurants in Munich. Thank you for the great hospitality!
